Fort Minor Returns With “Welcome”

SOURCE: MASHABLE

It’s been quite a few years since we heard anything from Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda’s side project, Fort Minor. 10 years to be specific. 10 years away from a side project which many thought was gone, as he opens up, “Well, yeah it’s been a long minute…” Today, some light has been shed on Shinoda’s act, as he releases a 360 degree music video for “Welcome.” The 360 degree effect only works if you’re on Chrome for desktop or on the YouTube app on your phone. For the video, it revolves around him painting a giant canvas, which turns out to be 1000 vinyl covers. You can pre-order the vinyl here. The vinyl cover would be a piece of the painting you see in the video. As for the future of Fort Minor, we’ll know with their sophomore album, Helio, due out later this year.
