B.B. King’s Spotify Streams Significantly Increase After Death

Two days after the death of the King of Blues, B.B. King, Spotify and online retailers alike are seeing a spike in the sales of the late Blues legend. According to Spotify, King’s streams have increased a whole 9800%. King has over 30 albums available via the platform, including his 2009 Grammy winning album, One King Favor, and works that span over 30 grammy nominations.

King died on May 14th, 2015, in his sleep due to multiple small strokes caused be Type 2 diabetes.
